Yokohama Military Support Group Silk Flag

A fine silk flag that carries the declaration of “Loyalty & Bravery” above a display of crossed Japanese flags and the star and anchor emblems of the Japanese Army and Navy. A row of kanji identifies the flag as that of the “Yokohama City Mobilized Military Support Group”. The flag is approximately 27 by 34 inches. The flag has leather reinforced corners with string ties. There are scattered very tiny holes that are not particularly noticeable, and a few spots, but overall the flag is striking in its design.
