The helmet liner is a Westinghouse example that was painted silver. Affixed to the front of the liner is a decal with the insignia of the Army Air Force Gunnery School at Yuma Field. The web lining is intact, as is the chin strap. The painted leather patch is approximately 4 inches in diameter. The leather patch shows age, but it is without damage. The helmet liner exhibits minor scuffs and spots, but it is in overall very good condition.
