WWII Waffen SS 13th (1st Croatian) Mountain Division “Handschar” Dress Fez

The maroon fez worn by enlisted personnel of the SS “Handschar” mountain division division as headgear with the dress uniform. The machine woven SS eagle is machine sewn to the front of the fez above the BeVo style machine woven SS totenkopf, which is hand sewn to the fez. A few strands of the black tassel have become tangled in each other but the tassel is complete. The interior carries its original full leather sweatband which carries a size stamp of 54. Overall very good condition.
