WWII U.S. Marine Corps Field Grade Officer Visor Cap

The blue wool top visor cap shows a few spots, but it is without holes, damage or repairs. The surface of the visor is embroidered with toned gold bullion oak leaves. The front peak has a screw back eagle, globe and anchor insignia which is marked as 1/30 rolled gold on sterling silver, with the insignia showing a dark and uncleaned patina. The interior leather sweatband is intact over a basket weave construction frame. Beneath the sweatband is a size tag of 7. Overall excellent condition.
