WWII U.S. Army EM/NCO Visor Cap with Laundry Mark

The olive green wool cap shows a few small holes and subtle tracking to the exterior surfaces. The interior wire stiffening was removed from the peak of the cap, indicating that the cap was almost certainly worn by a member of the Army Air Force. The surface of the brown leather visor displays some minor scratches. The interior leather sweatband is intact, as is the crown lining and the celluloid sweat shield. Beneath the sweat shield is the paper manufacturer tag as well as the stated size of 6-7/8. The lining bears multiple laundry mark stamps of “V-0426”. Overall very good condition.
