The knife, when opened, has an overall length of approximately 8-1/2 inches, identifying this example of the Schrade knife as the Number 3 version. The blade shows spots and scratches, with indications of sharpening. The ricasso is marked on one side “Presto Pat. Pend-G”; while the opposite side is marked “G. Schrade B’Port CT.”. The blade mechanism functions, and the safety catch operates as well. The painted surfaces of the textured metal grip retains most of its original black paint.
