WWII Third Reich Double Decal M1916 Army Helmet


The exterior field gray paint is approximately 90% intact. The Army eagle decal is approximately 95% intact, while the national colors shield is approximately 80% intact. The interior liner is present. The three liner pads are present, and two of the pads retain their “pillows” with filling. One of the liner pads lacks the “pillow”. Each liner pad has two leather tongues, and of these five are torn at the ends. The interior of the shell is marked “ET64”, indicating a size 64 shell manufactured by the firm of Eisenhuttenwerk AG, in Thale. The helmet is lacking the chin strap.
