The exterior cork infused olive drab paint is darkly toned and it shows expected spots, abrasions, and surface rust consistent with use and wear in the field. The full fabric chin strap is present. The M1C paratrooper liner was manufactured by the firm of International Molded Plastics (“IMP”), Incorporated, and it bears the “Imp” firm mark in the dome of the liner. The circular web ring of the liner became detached from the rear strap on one side and it was then fastened to the crown webbing. The liner is lacking the chin strap. Overall very good field used condition.
