WWII Named Japanese Navy Paymaster Officer Piped Cap

The named WWII visor cap of an officer of the Imperial Navy, piped in white to reflect the officer’s role as a Paymaster. The lining of the cap has embroidered kanji for the officer’s name of “Shiboka”. The exterior wool body of the cap is in fine condition, free of holes or stains. The front of the cap carries the bullion and metal insignia of an officer of the Imperial Navy. The surface of the black leather visor has typical fine age crazing from age, and wear spots to the edge. The lower edge of the cap has wear and some small holes, as does the cap band. Overall the cap is in very good condition.
