The gorget eagle and panoply of flags emblem exhibits very fine detail. The field of the gorget shows wear to the silver finish. The neck chain is only partially intact. The reverse side of the gorget remains completely covered by Luftwaffe blue gray wool. The center uniform retention clip is maker marked by the firm of C.E. Junker.
