The Luftschutz M35 civil defense helmet retains approximately 95 percent of its blue exterior paint, with the front decal being almost completely intact. The liner is present and intact, being quite clean, while the chin strap is lacking. The interior rear rim is stamped “8102” and, while the exterior edge of the front rim shows a small circular hole – now filled, beyond that, the helmet is in overall very good condition.
