The bayonet has an overall length of approximately 15-3/4 inches. The blade has an intact dark finish. The bayonet bears small wood grip plates which show age and wear but which are complete and intact. The pommel and guard have a fine patina, with the pommel being numbered on the surface and on the end. The scabard is dark with age and wear and shows areas of pitting, but it is complete and intact. Overall very good condition.
