WWII Japanese Pictorial Phonograph Record

The pictorial phonograph record is approximately 7-5/8 inches in diameter. One side of the record depicts soldiers with children, while the opposite side shows children with wounded men in a hospital, as well as a picture of the Japanese military wound badge. The record exhibits signs of age and surface soiling, but it is intact. It is unknown if the record currently plays without impairment. The record bears the designation of “Omocha-Record” [“Toy Record”], manufactured by the Tokikado Shoukai Company in Tokyo. The record contains the song “Thank You, Mister” [literally “Uncle”] on one side, while the opposite side has the song “The Hospital’s Brave Warrior”.
