WWII Japanese “Kite’s Beak” Firefighting Tool

$175.00

The wood and iron firefighting tool is approximately 19-1/2 inches long. The tool has an iron “beak” that was designed to enable civil defense firefighters to pull down burning wood and paper homes in the aftermath of a bombing raid. The iron components show the expected rust from exposure to the water from fire hoses. The tool is intact and shows typical signs of age and use.
