The set is comprised of four separate protective rubber covers for the horse’s hooves and lower legs. The covers were intended to protect the hooves and lower legs of the horse from gas and blister agents that were close to the ground or clinging to grass or foliage. Each of the rubber covers is pliable and complete with all attachment straps. The covers have internal army markings in kanji, and they are contained within their original rubber carrying case. Overall very good field used condition.
