WWII Japanese Army Type 90 Combat Helmet

The exterior of the helmet retains much of the olive brown combat paint while showing stains, scuffs and abrasions consistent with wear in the combat theater. The metal Japanese Army star insignia is affixed to the front of the helmet. The full interior liner remains present, showing signs of use and being somewhat dry from age. the fabric chin strap with field repairs is present on the helmet as well. There are traces of painted kanji on the interior rim. Overall the helmet is in very good field used condition, exhibiting much character as a fine example of a Japanese combat helmet which saw use in the theater of operations.
