WWII Japanese Army Tanker Winter Helmet

The front of the leather tanker helmet displays the Army star. The exterior of the helmet exhibits relatively minor scuffing consistent with wear and use in a tank. The helmet retains the full leather chin strap as well as all closure snaps on the ear flap covers. The interior is lined with fur, which is intact and shows light wear. The interior dome of the helmet bears issue stamps. The metal loops of the chin strap fastening system show some surface rust. Overall the helmet is in excellent field used condition.
