WWII Japanese Army Pilot Flotation Vest
$1,750.00
Japanese Army pilot personal flotation jacket, a waistcoat-styled life jacket made of kapok-filled tubes covered by chocolate-brown fabric. There are a total of 34 tube-shaped chambers and the vest is secured around the pilot by means of fabric tying tapes. A characteristic of the Army version of this type of flying equipment is the addition of an ‘L’ shaped pocket sewn to the outside right side. The uppermost front tie is missing and there is a small disturbance of the edge of the material near to top tie, but the vest is in overall excellent and clean condition.
