The canteen shows typical signs of wear and use, with spots to the cloth cover and with the cover closure snaps showing rust. The full shoulder strap and the canteen cup cap are present, with the stopper cork being stuck with the cap at the moment. The rear base of the cover bears handwritten kanji and the letters “M.M”. Overall the officer canteen is in very good field used condition.
