WWII Japanese Army 2nd Model Tropical Tunic Dated 1942

Uncommon Japanese army second model tropical tunic. The first model tropical tunic was produced with pleated upper pockets, patch type lower pockets and a brass hook collar closure. This tunic, the second model, differed from the first model in the addition of flaps on the lower pockets. The tunic has been issued and is named on the issue stamp, but remains in excellent condition. The interior bears a large issue stamp dated 1942.
