WWII Japanese Arisaka Rifle Type 30 Bayonet by National Denki Under Kokura Arsenal Supervision with Frog & Combat Covered Scabbard

$325.00

The blued blade is generally bright, with the blade showing typical spots and scratches. The blade is without nicks, chips, or active rust. The ricasso bears the manufacturer mark of the Kokura Arsenal together with the mark of National Denki. The bayonet has a bird head pommel and hooked quillon. The wood grip plates show typical signs of age and darkening from use, but they are intact and without chips or cracks. Both the pommel and the quillon have a dark patina, with the pommel bearing an impressed number. The canvas covered metal scabbard exhibits wear and use, with spots and stains as well as a small tear to the fabric covering. The brown leather frog similarly shows wear and age consistent with use in the field, but the leather is supple and the frog is complete and intact. Overall good field used condition.
