WWII Japanese Arisaka Rifle Bayonet by Howa Jyuko Under Nagoya Arsenal Supervision with Frog

The bayonet has a straight quillon with a bird’s head, serial numbered, pommel. The blued finish on the blade is essentially completely intact, showing only a few relatively minor spots of wear. The ricasso bears the marks indicating production by Howa Jyuko under Nagoya Arsenal Supervision. The wood grip plates show age and typical pock marks, but they are without cracks. The guard and pommel have an uncleaned patina over the blued finish. The scabbard shows only very minor wear to the finish. The leather frog is complete and intact. Overall the bayonet is in excellent used condition.
