WWII Italian SS Gruppenführer und Generalleutnant der Waffen-SS Collar Tab Set

Superb hand embroidered rank collar tab set for a Lieutenant General of the Italian Waffen SS. The tabs are embroidered in silver bullion on red wool with silver bullion piping. There is a bit of residue on the reverse from mounting of the collar tabs in a scrapbook. A photograph found on the internet shows a period image of an Italian Waffen SS Obersturmführer standing with a German Waffen SS Sturmbannführer, with the Italian SS officer clearly wearing the distinctive red rank collar tabs.  Excellent condition.
