WWII Italian Fascist High Ranking Officer White Top Visor Cap

The visor cap has a white corduroy top for wear with the summer uniform. The cap band carries three gold stripes which, in the Italian Army, represented a Captain. The front of the cap exhibits a massive, hand embroidered gold bullion fascist eagle on a purple base. The leather visor is crossed by a black and gold chin cord. The interior is lined in white silk with a full celluloid sweat shield and a size tag of 56. The exterior of the cap shows expected spots and age toning but overall it is in excellent condition, without holes, tears, or distracting stains.
