WWII Infantry Assault Badge in Silver by Hobacher

Die struck alloy badge with magnetic needle pin, marked “W.H.” for production by Wilhelm Hobacher of Vienna. The silver finish shows some typical wear and toning but it is largely intact. The “C” catch is slightly compressed and so the pin does not enter into the catch, but the “C” catch could likely be carefully opened up a bit to permit latching of the pin.
