WWII Guidon of the Medical Detachment of the 340th Field Artillery Battalion (89th Infantry Division)

The wool blend guidon is multi piece construction, double sided with a mirror image reverse, and it is approximately 20 inches by 29 inches. The sleeve on the hoist edge contains a leather tab on each end for attachment to the pole. There is a Quartermaster tag inside of the sleeve. There is a small hole above and to the side of the number “0” in “340”, but otherwise the guidon is in excellent condition.
