WWII Germany Army Officer Lion Head Sword by Ernst Pack & Söhne
$425.00
The sword has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 40 inches, with a blade length of approximately 34 inches. The blade shows a few spots but it is generally clean. The ricasso bears the maker mark of the firm of Ernst Pack & Söhne. The guard, ferule, knuckle bow, back strap and the lion hear pommel all show a dark patina with some traces of old polish within crevices of the designs. The lion head carries two faceted red glass eyes. The gloss black scabbard paint has scuffs, abrasions, and chips.
