The bayonet has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 14 inches. The blade shows scratches and spots but it is generally bright and without a maker mark. The toned stag grip plates are without chips or cracks. Both the guard and the pommel exhibit an uncleaned patina with speckling of the plated finish. A green wool insert is present in the rifle slot. The scabbard has wear to the black paint.
