WWII German Military Fife in 1942 Dated Black Leather Case

The cased fife has an overall length of approximately 18-1/2 inches, inclusive of the belt loop. The fife itself is approximately 14-3/4 inches long. The fife is in excellent condition, with the metal ends showing an uncleaned patina and a bit of verdigris. The belt loop is manufacturer marked by a Berlin maker and it is dated 1942. The black leather case shows age and use, primarily to the strap which secured the cover of the case, but overall the set is in very good condition.
