The blade of the bayonet is generally quite bright, showing some light marks from removal of the bayonet from the scabbard. The grip plats are without chips or cracks. The guard and the pommel exhibit some speckling of the plated finish and uncleaned patina. The scabbard shows surface dirt while it retains approximately 80 percent of the flat black paint.
