The blade of the bayonet shows spots and scratches but it is generally very bright. The ricasso bears the squirrel trademark of the firm of Carl Eixkhorn. The leather washer remains in place at the top of the blade. The black Bakelite grip plates are without chips or cracks. The plated surfacesw of the guard and the pommel show some speckling, but the plating is largely intact. The scabbard shows minor scratches. Overall very good condition.
