WWII German Army Ordnance Hauptmann Tunic

The field gray tunic bears the collar tabs and shoulder boards of an army Hauptmann of artillery, with the boards bearing the metal cyphers of the Ordnance branch. The upper right breast has a bullion army breast eagle while the upper left breast has a two place ribbon bar reflecting the award of the 1939 War Merit Cross Second Class with Swords and the West Wall Medal, with the ribbon bar pinned into two thread loops that were above the pocket for its wear. On the left upper pocket is a set of thread loops for the wear of a medal or badge. The pocket flaps of the upper pockets are sewn closed. The tunic shows spots and signs of wear and use, but it is without holes, damage or repairs. Overall the tunic is in very good field used condition.
