WWII Gebirgsjaeger Officer Insignia Group Removed from a Uniform


The insignia of a Hauptmann of the Gebirgsjaeger, the elite mountain troops of the German Army, all removed from the officer’s uniform. The group consists of the officer collar tabs; the slip on shoulder boards; the bullion embroidered officer’s breast eagle; and the machine embroidered edelweiss Gebirgsjaeger sleeve insignia. All of the insignia are in very good  condition, all showing the signs of having been worn on a uniform, with the edelweiss having rough edges.
