WWII Front Seam Fixed Bale Officer’s M1 Combat Helmet with Camouflage Net and Hawley Liner
$1,000.00
The exterior, cork infused, olive green paint is almost completely intact, showing typical wear on the edge rim. The rear of the helmet bears the white vertical leadership stripe of an officer’s helmet. The interior of the helmet is generally quite clean, with some spots and markings that correspond to spots on the exterior of the helmet liner. The helmet is covered by a camouflage net which has one or two strand breaks but which is without holes or repairs. Within the helmet is a Hawley liner, which retains all interior webbing, showing light wear and use. The web chin strap is secure on the helmet, while the liner chin strap is also intact across the front of the liner. The liner has a 1 inch crack on the lower right rear side, but the liner is in very good condition. Overall the entire set is in excellent field used condition.
