WWII Front Seam Fixed Bale Combat Helmet with Hawley Liner
$675.00
The exterior olive drab, cork infused, combat paint is approximately 90% intact, with the primary area of wear being on the top of the dome. The helmet shell has a very shallow indentation on the upper left front that is approximately 1 1/2 inches long. The interior front of the helmet bears a heat stamp that appears to be “11AA” (as a note, a photograph was taken of the heat stamp by sprinkling baby powder onto the helmet to fill in the number, and the powder was then wiped away after the photograph was taken). The Hawley liner has one or two subtle cracks, as was typical with this liner, but these do not effect the integrity or the appearance of the liner. The liner has the early war light olive drab webbing, with a nape strap that is clearly marked as a “Large”. The liner retains its chin strap, and the full olive drab web chin strap remains on the helmet. Overall both the helmet and the liner are in very good, field used, condition.
