WWII Fixed Bale M1 Combat Helmet with Marine Corps Camouflage Cover

The fixed bale helmet has a Westinghouse liner with khaki webbing and a khaki web chin strap with raised bar brass buckle. The nape strap of the liner is manufacturer marked, dated 1944, and bears a “USMC” annotation. The camouflage cover is faded from wear but it is without tears or holes. Excellent, field worn condition, we have not taken the components apart as it appears that they have always been together.
