WWII Christmas 1942 Military Hospital Photograph Album

The large photograph album carries the embossed title “Reserve-Lazarett II Prag-Reuth Kriegsweihnachten 1942” (“Reserve Military Hospital Prag-Reuth at Wartime Christmas 1942”). The album measures approximately 8 3/4 by 12 1/2 inches and it contains approximately 35 black and white photographs of various sizes. The photographs show a variety of scenes, including soldiers off duty, wounded soldiers in bed, and the hospital complex, including an interior dining room scene depicting a large mural of Adolf Hitler. There is also an interesting photograph that shows a detail of high ranking officers of the Army, the SA and the SS, even including one senior Government official wearing the government official’s dagger. The album is in overall excellent condition.
