WWII British Made Paratrooper Jump Wing with Star

Paratrooper jump wing made by J.R. Gaunt of London.
The wing has a classic British open catch, marked by Gaunt on the center interior. A star, for one combat jump, is mounted on the parachute shroud lines with a pair of prongs through a drilled hole on the lines. The wings, the shroud lines, and the parachute canopy all exhibit the fine detail that is characteristic of this British manufacturer. Excellent condition.
