WWII Allied Propaganda Leaflet on the “Illusion” of the U-Boats

The leaflet is double sided and it is approximately 5-1/8 inches by 8-3/8 inches. One side of the leaflet pictures the covers of two editions of the German magazine “Simplicissimus”, with both of those covers illustrating the perils posed to England by the U-Boat fleet. The opposite side of the leaflet has a photograph of Admiral Donitz, a photograph of explosions around a surfaced U-boat, and text which includes the statement of “In den 31 Tagen eines Monats wurden 31 erfolgreiche Angriffw auf U-Bootedurchgefuhrt” (“In the 31 days of a month, 31 successful attacks on submarines were carried out”). The leaflet shows age and wear but it is intact.
