WWII Air Raid Warden Helmet

The helmet is in the style of the Model 1917 combat helmet. The exterior finish shows spots and scuffs, but the finish is largely intact, as is the Air Raid Warden decal on the front of the helmet. The interior liner shows wear, but it is intact. The web chin strap is similarly intact, with the chin strap and the liner being retained by bales which are secured by split rivets. Overall very good condition.
