WWII 1939 Spange for the 1914 Iron Cross First Class Marked L/11 – Wilhelm Deumer Lüdenscheid

$395.00

The spange was worn above the 1914 Iron Cross first class by individuals who had received that award in World War I and who subsequently had been decorated with the 1939 Iron Cross first class. The surface of the spange shows some signs of age, but the spange retains a muted silver finish to the piece with a mirrored silver finish to the swastika and the “1939” date. The spange has a non-magnetic needle pin and the back of the spange is marked “L/11”, indicating manufacture by the firm of Wilhelm Deumer Lüdenscheid. Overall excellent condition.
