WWI Woman’s Red Cross Volunteer District of Paris Uniform with Jacket and Skirt

$975.00

The uniform is comprised of the charcoal gray wool jacket and the matching skirt. The jacket has a bullion District of Paris patch on the left shoulder, with a single overseas service chevron on the lower left sleeve. Both shoulders have enamel Red Cross insignia as well as pin backĀ  “U.S.” insignia. The patch shows some wear and age, and the jacket has a few small holes, none of which are particularly noticeable. All of the Red Cross buttons are intact, as are the belt supports. The interior lining shows wear, and the linings of the sleeves were removed. The matching skirt has holes in the rear and separations in the rear below the waistband. One of the buttons on a skirt pocket flap is partially broken. Overall the uniform is in very good condition.
