The pay book was issued to “Frederick Rodenstein”, with the unit identified as the 329th Infantry Regiment, although a line was placed through this, presumably after transfer to another unit at war’s end. The pay book shows age and use, but it is complete and intact. The pay book is accompanied by a post card notifying Rodenstein that his draft classification was “IA”, together with a photograph of Rodenstein in uniform.
