WWI Type 5 Experimental Combat Helmet with Liner and Chin Strap

The helmet retains most all of the textured painted combat exterior, showing typical grime and surface rust. The leather liner has all three of the liner pads, each of which have “pillows” behind them, but without filling. The ends of two of the leather tongues are torn, while the other four tongues are intact and retain the grommets for a drawstring. The fabric chin strap is present and complete.
