The sword has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 36 inches, with a blade length of approximately 29-1/2 inches. The blade shows a film of rust on one side and on a portion of the opposite side. The grip is horn wrapped in twisted brass wire, and the grip shows chips beneath the pommel. The pommel, back strap, and guard are brass and exhibit a dark and uncleaned patina. The obverse langet displays the Turkish star and crescent. The scabbard shows some rust and staining as well as several horizontal indentations.
