WWI Trench Art Photograph Frame of a French Soldier

The frame was constructed from an Imperial German “Gott Mit Uns” brass belt buckle, mounted on an easel of three bullets. The center roundel of the buckle contains a photograph of a French enlisted soldier who wears a black mourning armband. The trench art shows uncleaned patina and it is in very good condition.
