WWI Imperial / Third Reich 5 Place Police Medal Bar

A very clean and impressive medal bar of the Imperial and Third Reich periods. The bar is comprised of the 1914 Iron Cross, 2nd class; Lippe-Detmold War Merit Cross, on the ribbon for a combatant; Hindenburg Cross with swords; Prussian 9 Year Service Medal; and the Third Reich Police 25 Year Service Cross, with a separately applied fabric police eagle on the ribbon. The bar has furled and padded ribbons and reflects great care in the assembly, with the jeweler applying well concealed loops of threads on several of the medals to keep them firmly in place and to prevent them from flopping around. The bar is backed in blue fabric. Overall excellent condition.
