WWI Imperial German Army Field Chaplain Tunic

The tunic is of the M1910 style, although it is constructed of a fine quality charcoal gray wool. The collar, front fly, cuffs, and rear skirt openings are all piped in the purple waffenfarbe of an army chaplain. On the upper left breast is a set of two loops for the wear of a short ribbon or medal bar. The tunic is fully lined in black cotton, with the interior of the front fly being lined in purple wool. That wool lining shows some mothing, but otherwise the tunic is very clean, with only some light spots but without tears or holes and making an excellent appearance.
