The double edged blade is generally quite clean, showing typical spots and scratches as well as old oil. The ricasso bears the maker mark and name of the firm of “Ernst Busch Solingen”, while the opposite side is marked “Germany” and it has an imperial proof mark. The leather washer is in place at the top of the blade. The tapered wood grip plates are without chips or cracks. The scabbard exhibits minor loss of the exterior black paint. The leather belt loop is intact. Overall very good field used condition.
