The blade is generally clean, showing spots and scratches, with a barely visible nick to the cutting edge. The ricasso bears the mark of Durkopp Werke, A.G., while the opposite side has the partial name of another company. The spine of the blade has a faint crown and number “3”. The wood grip plates exhibit age toning as well as chips to the surface of the obverse side. The guard, the pommel, and the flash guard all have an uncleaned patina on top of remaining finish, together with spots of surface rust. The blued scabbard similarly shows spots of surface rust and scratches. Overall very good field used condition.
